H.O.M.E. Resource Center
San Benito County's first year-round homeless shelter — offering safe overnight shelter, daily meals, and a dedicated outreach team connecting neighbors to housing and support.
Safe Shelter, Real Support
The H.O.M.E. Resource Center (HRC) opened on December 1, 2017, as a shelter, outreach, and supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness in San Benito County. In addition to a secure place to stay, guests receive nutritious meals, access to food, and a personal locker to safely store their belongings while participating in the program.
The shelter also offers essential amenities — including restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and hygiene products — helping guests maintain their health, dignity, and well-being. Beyond shelter services, HRC's dedicated outreach team actively engages with unsheltered community members throughout San Benito County, connecting them with critical resources and pathways toward stable housing.

Program Services
Every guest at HRC has access to a full range of support services designed around their path to stability.
Meeting People Where They Are
Four times each month, HRC deploys a dedicated outreach team to engage with individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the community — building trust, addressing immediate needs, and connecting people with critical resources.
